On 2 March, the winners of the Tuglas’ Short Story Award were announced in the black-ceilinged hall of the Estonian Writers’ Union. The jury consisting of Kätlin Kaldmaa, Mart Velsker, Kaarel Vanamölder, Piret Bristol and Maarja Jaanits decided to award Aliis Allmann’s short story Mina ei käinud siis veel koolis (I didn’t go to school yet, published in Looming no. 6) and Kai Kask’s short story Vaba langemine (Free fall, published in the collection Üle tänava, Over the Street). Congratulations!
