During the evenings of the conference Decadence in Estonian culture: translation and interpretation, cultural events were held. On the second day, Eero Epner talked with film and theatre directors Marianne Kõrver, Rainer Sarnet and Juhan Ulfsak about the influence of decadent art on their works and the shape that decadence has taken today. On the final evening, a colloquium took place of the translators who have rendered texts by Nietzsche into Estonian, including Jaan Undusk, Leo Luks, Märt Põder, Jaanus Sooväli, Andres Luure, Egle Erik, Henri Otsing and Ahto Lobjakas (for an Estonian overview, see here).

The conference also received coverage in the wider media, e. g. Janar Ala wrote a thorough overview in one of the Estonian main newspapers, Postimees (article Hundina sind pureksin, allakäik! (I would bite you as a wolf, decadence!)). Research professor of the project, Mirjam Hinrikus was invited to the Estonian National Radio to talk about decadence studies.
