The exhibition Rõõm ja mure kaksikvennad. Eduard Rüga paguluses (Joy and worry, twin brothers. Eduard Rüga in exile) is open in Tartu City Museum from 20 April until 19 August 2023. Curated by Enn Lillemets and Inga Heamägi, the exhibition sheds light on Eduard Rüga (1903–1997) who graduated from Pallas Art School in Tartu in 1939. The focus is on his oeuvre created in Germany and the United States. Almost a quarter of the hundred works exhibited belong to the collection of the Under and Tuglas Literature Centre of the Estonian Academy of Sciences. The Director of the Literature Centre, Jaan Undusk analyses the exhibition and writes about Rüga and his ties with the Centre in the article published in Sirp on 4 August.
